Realm Christmas Party. Or Not?

Most of us who hang around the realm forums have probably seen the thread and /facepalmed in real life.

For those who don’t know the legend of Thealmightyf (and I don’t use the word “legend” in a good way, Theal, don’t get too excited) he was previously known for reminding people why they usually have trade chat switched off. Now however, in the aftermath of his 13th birthday, he is striving to convince the realm that the old widely-ignored kid is gone and a mature(r) guy is taking his place.

Part of this effort has involved apologising for past behaviour. Fair enough, it’s certainly needed, but personally I don’t see the majority buying it. As a further bit of goodwill then, Thealmightyf and (presumably they’re in on it since he mentions them so much) his guild StormGuard would like to invite us all to their realm Christmas party.

The plan is ambitious, featuring player-run questlines and with an optmistic belief that people will actually be moved to donate their cooking skill.  Both factions are invited, in the possibly misguided belief that this will not end up as a PvP-fest. If you’re interested in making it work (and it definitely can if people put the effort in) you can contact either Theal himself or Rooley on alliance, if you’re horde the point of contact is Menedor.

The important stuff:

  • 23rd December – 15:00 realm time
  • Everlook, Winterspring
  • Cake

It could fail, it could be awesome, I guess we’ll have to see.

I personally think this will turn into all out PVP war, BLOODY BRILLIANT!

PvP war….sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet! oh wait…can prolly take on all of the horde with 9 mates of me :( . No challenge… ( YES THATS TAUNTING! )

  • Damn I am not going to be there, but yes methinks a PVP war will occur, Wintergrasp in Winterspring! To be perfectly honest it would be far to tempting for many a Horde and, Alliance for that matter if someone were to be flagged. Horde should not socialise over a cup of tea with alliance in my view.

    Garrosh Hellscream ftw!!

  • Thanks for posting about it =) It went ok, there was some PvP though, even afetr we went to all the hard work to try and make it accessible for both factions =( It was pretty good, although it would’ve been alot more fun if more people had turned up so we could play the games. So remember that for this year =)
