I have been very conscious that Emerald Dreamers (through no fault of our own) will become Alliance heavy. We are actively recruiting a Horde correspondent but I thought I could be more proactive.
So on Saturday I faction changed my little Resto Druid Anaise into a lovely Tauren, giving me the chance to play Horde side on Emerald Dream.
I logged in and whispered Gothmogs an Orc Warlock in Twenty Percent Sober (I love that guild name!) to say hello and immediately got an invite to an Alliance city raid, what a way to make the transition!
After forgetting I was totally unfamiliar with the Horde cities I got thoroughly lost was eventually summoned into Ironforge, we grouped up, buffed up and charged towards King Magni Bronzebeard, I had never healed in PVP before but I ran around my little branches quivering with excitement and we successfully downed him before to many Alliance showed up. We went onto Exodar afterwards and downed Prophet Velen and the others will die…….. sometime soon.
Later, hanging around in Dalaran I noticed trade chat was surprising quiet (pleasantly so) due to the moderate population, there seemed a lot less spam but also a lot less PUGS, which although is pleasant has a negative impact on an un guilded newly dinged level 80 with crappy gear. The chat that was happening was however friendly and helpful.
I enquired if there was an experienced resto druid that could give me a hand with my pesky healing addons and was whispered by Moolis another moo cow from Outlaws Torn who was extremely helpful and has subsequently ended up on my friends list and gave me an invite to a very exclusive chat channel (if I told you I would have to kill you!)
So a eventful couple of days for a new Horde player, apart from loving my character (the Tauren female dance is the best dance EVER!) I have also really enjoyed getting to know the Horde community a little more and Anaise will be staying for sure.
You never know…. if my Guild Members Alliance side don’t behave (or wont stop calling Anaise a “fat ugly cow woman”) I just might make her my main!

Awww Thanks Miss Moo! I must say I was worried when I invited you to our IF Raid you may have raised the alarm and there would have been an Army of FEs and possibly an Army of Mongooses waiting for us LOL. However no treason was commited and you are most welcome to Horde
Also I would like to add that IF is extremely hard for us minimal Horde folk I have tried 3 times, once with a pug then a Twenty Percent Sober and Eden collaberation which was fail as there was a snitch in our midst and last week Twenty Percent Sober, Eden, Rompa Stompa and Agents of Chaos which was a success!
The Eden/TPS IF raid was not a fail! The raid group lost some numbers whilst we waited for the ‘snitch’ to leave (whoever it was is still a mystery). By 2 a.m. server time we had 12 people that finally went and boom, boomed the king. We got him to 20% but got overun by alliance pvpers.
Instead of calling it a night we managed to get 3 more people from trade chat into the group, went again and b00m, b00m, shang-a-lang, jobs a good un, thank you mam, King ist pwnt
So no… it was most definitely a success
Well its funny you say that, I was on Vent at the time with a guildy, When we were hitting Exodar I told him we were in Darn and when we went over to SW I told him we were in Exodar, poor thing kept running about (he was only on a level 30 rogue but better to be safe than sorry!) He found us in SW in the end and sapped me on the way up to the king!
But seriously when Im Horde…… I’m Horde, regardless of my Alliance ties!

The mongooses decided to kill sylvanas and Shell enlisted all of us regardless of level to fight back. Unfortunately most of us were babies, so we were ghosts most of the time.

Hmmph Just a guildie… She forgets to mention she was like COME SEE ME IM A COW come to Dalaran, I said ok let me just get to Duskwood (I was on a flight path), So… I got to duskwood about 2minutes later used my hearthstone. To only find out she isnt there anymore she has gone off to kill the city leaders. So I ask where is she so I can come wave and she says mmm in Org atm just getting the FP, I asked is it Darn il go there. So I go to Darn and wait then I find out they are in Stormwind, so theres poor me all alone in Darnas doing what she asked me with no Hearthstone! I went and got the boat to Stormwind but by the time I got there I found out they where in fact in Exodar!. So I went back to darkshire as they killed the boss went to darn expecting them to go there but then they decided to goto Stormwind! Don’t even think we were on vent or else she would of heard me cussing at her for wasting my time doing what she asked.
So in conclusion to that story, I have worked out do not believe a word the big ugly cow woman says!!!!!
@ Ana Yes in the end it came right for those left over but as you said many people did leave from Eden and TPS due to the fact of 3 of us being camped for a good 3 hours so it did feel like failure for most people that did leave waiting for those wasted 3 hours, maybe yes fail does not fit the entire situation and I apologise for that. Last weekend we also had Eden members with us, as well as many other guilds and it went smooth as butter. So yes fail is not exactly the right word but it most definitely did not go smoothly.
Oh and I would love to know who the snitch was, waiting around as a ghost was not exactly fun DAMN we should have just killed those 2 muppets
