Have you ever received a hilarious mistell, or have you yourself sent something you shouldn’t have to the wrong person/group?
Perhaps you have made a classic typo that’s been interpreted in the wrong way…..or the right way dependant on the typo! This is your chance to share with the rest of the realm those “ground open up and swallow me” moments. Please see my own example here!
Mistell (or MT) happens when sending a chat message (tell) to the wrong person or group.
Said in guild chat: “Yeah, my guild sucks and I’m thinking of leaving them.” “YIKES, MT. I was talking about another guild”.
Rules:
1. If its a mistell from someone random please black out the name, or get there permission to use it.
2. Please submit your mistell/typo in the form of a screenshot (see my example!) to contact@emeralddreamers.co.uk
3. Please include your character name in the email so we know who wins!
4. After some moans about the last competition myself and the “staff” will select the best three entries and put these to a public vote.
Deadline for submissions is Sunday 10th January, the shortlist will go up on Wednesday 13th January and voting will close on Sunday 17th January with the winner announced the same day. Good luck everyone!
The prize will be a goodybag of nice things (gems, pets, interesting things)
to the value of 1000g or over. You have to be in it to win it so get sending!
