Brewfest 2009 marked the first time that those players devoted (and lucky) enough to have completed all of the seasonal meta-achievements were able to get their hands on a genuinely stunning mount, inspiring awe and jealously in those around them. I myself know a depressing amount of people who fly about on their violet drake at every opportunity, often just because they know I want one.
On the other hand, maybe getting the drake first time round isn’t so fun now that everyone else is running about (or sitting still disguised as a snowman, whatever) getting their Winter Veil achievements the “lucky” few have nothing much to do.
So which camp do you fall into? Is Winter Veil achievementastic or just one long wait for your BB gun?

I did the Christmas one last year so haven’t anything to do! But I don’t have the drake as I’m a lazy thing!
I have the drake, so I don’t care what happens with the achievements now.
Pah, I’m not here for most of the seasonal achievements so I will never get my proto-drake!
Omg! This cool =D.. Gotta love wordpress aye?
… ok ok, OT now.. F*ck holiday achievements.. and most achievements that don’t give u rewards
..
Cheers!
The points are the reward! :O
Achievement points, titles and mounts FTW!
*Ticks box* – The drake looks crap, like something Julian Clary rejected for being too camp (if you don’t know who he is use google) but achievements give me something to do.
They may not be for everyone but they are “not needed” to play the game. I missed out on finishing off the last of the xmas ones this year as I had to start a new char, and SOMEONE didnt make me the items I needed when they logged in :p.
