As you all know this site is pretty new. Most of it was built in the space of a week and certain parts aren’t exactly ideal.
We’ve had quite a bit of interest in the site so far, which has helped to highlight various bugs and problems currently on
my to-do list. I thought I’d let you know what exactly is planned for the site, and take any suggestions you might have to improve it even more.
We’re currently in talks with a number of people offering to write regular features for us. Subjects vary but as ever we could very much do with more horde content so it’s never too late to be in touch with an idea. One-off guest posts are also accepted, more information yonder.
The way these work at the moment is a stopgap until I can get things like raid progression updating automatically. The way they display was also somewhat last-minute, and needs to be substantially improved. Apologies if your guild is slightly out of date but the changes should be live within the next week. If you really can’t wait that long for an update just drop me a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do technically have a gallery, used for the grand opening costume contest, but I will be expanding this to include so much more and actually be vaguely interesting to look at. Included in this update will be a new blog feature “Screenie of the Week” featuring amusing, impressive and just plain weird screenies. If you have one you’d like to enter pre-emptively, feel free to send it to email@example.com. We’ll choose a new screenie to be added to the gallery each week and you will of course get full credit.
A new fun thing, population changes on the realm over time displayed on a shiny graph. Oooh. This will update regularly from warcraftrealms.com, and to that end I’m uploading census information to the site every couple of days. More people uploading means more accuracy however, and if you’re a guild leader/officer you should really be doing so anyway to thank them for their guild history awesomeness search.

You know, the one at the top of the homepage that I can’t think of the word for. This is crap, and will be improved!
Various minor bugfixes for the one person who browses using IE6, and maybe something that you guys can suggest too. Hit me (not literally).
