Over the last few weeks, our guild has seen a push for MOAR REPUTATION. On Saturday, a freshly dinged 80 had no other priority than to stay up until 7am grinding Darnassus rep for a kitty mount, and the race to guild first The Exalted is truly underw
ay.
Basically, this is my excuse for a rep-based Achieve This!.
Hero of the Zandalar Tribe is one of the first rep achievements I attempted (before achievements existed, because I just lurrrrrrve rep). It involves, funnily enough, achieving exalted status with the Zandalar Tribe. Never heard of them? Shame on you.
The “What’s in it for Me?”
You don’t care about some silly tribe, and 10 achievement points is laughable? Fair enough, go check out the awesome mounts you can get from Zul’Gurub while you do this and then we’ll talk. You on board? Good.
The Method
Run Zul’Gurub repeatedly. Yep, that’s basically it. This is a pretty easy reputation to grind because the raid mobs, including trash, award reputation all the way to exalted. Huzzah! That said there are some things you can do to speed it up.
One of the fairly common drops in the instance are Bijous, these can be turned in for 125 reputation (more for jammy humans).
You’ll also see a lot of green quality “coins”. These can be handed in in threes for yet more rep, but alas only in certain combinations. They are as follows:
- Sandfury, Skullsplitter, and Bloodscalp Coins
- Gurubashi, Vilebranch, and Witherbark Coins
- Zulian, Razzashi, and Hakkari Coins
Unless you’re solo farming, you may also be able to complete some quests such as The Heart of Hakkar. You should too, he’s a fun boss.
An alternative strategy for the less fun-inclined of you is to just buy up a ton of rep items from the AH and go visit the trolls.
Wheretf are these Trolls?
The Zandalar guys are hiding on a tiny crap island in northwest Stranglethorn. You’ll find them standing about being lonely, just waiting for someone to come visit. This is where you’ll pick up all of the quests and hand in your rep items. As ever, Wowhead has it handily marked on a map.

Blegh, reputation.. the horror!
Ive tried farming 1 reputation, to get the netherwind drake… I gave up.
I just cant push myself to do the same shit every day, I havent even done my JC daily in months even though it only takes like 5mins.. Im a mage.. I can even portal back and forth to dala and still I cba at all.
atm Im getting ICC rep, but thats just free while Im in there trying to get the main and offhand from 1st and 2nd boss for PvP.
My my that is a challenge, could this be part of your struggle to get the “insane” title?
So thats why Jodie has been needing them coins! Well I never all the times I took her just for her damn mount (Which still hasnt dropped!!) lol well atleast we be getting some rep out of it

@ Vossie Ha ha ha did the same as you with the Netherdrake, did the opening quests and havn’t been back.
Have had dreams of the Insane Title, netherdrake and all sorts but after grinding Timbermaw rep all the way to Exalted I have had enough. Maybe one day but I doubt it.
Zandalar was my 36th Exalted, with the goblins (/sigh DM runs) taking me to the title, I have 42 now with the Tuanka and HoV and Ashen will be 43rd.
Still lacking a few old ones with no real way to get them (e.g. Molten Core, need to clear all bosses several times to get the Hydros and then only last 2 for that elusive 999/1000 marker). Same with the AQ rep dragons.
I haven’t done the Timbermaw yet so maybe I should some time after I’ve done all the other stuff I need to do

Booooo I never got to the races, at the moment am actually FARMING and scheming and gambling on AH this is my amusement will probably try and get to the races at somepoint. Hell I dont even have UC, SM and TB rep at exalted, cant joust (latency) and handing in all that potential money making cloth is just soul destroying.
My argent tournament dailys arent dailys anymore,
now they are monthlys.
I only do them when I need some gold for an enchant, and then I cba the next day.
