Yes it’s new, it’s scary, it’s got shorter post intros and a crapload of links everywhere, I don’t blame you all for inevitably hating it. It’s tough, of course, so you may as well come to terms with the changes.

Homepage Layout

Once you get over your initial shock, hatred and anger, you may notice that you can see a LOT more content on one page than you could before.  Plus, who can argue with bonny thumbnails everywhere? Deal with it.

“But it’s harder to see what’s new!” This is true to an extent, but if you’re new then you should just read everything ever, and if you’re not you should be subscribing anyway!

Guild Listings

We had some people getting all confused about the 5-star ratings, so I’ve taken those out. However, the guild page is now a lot prettier, and pulls raid progression info straight from wow-heroes so posts won’t need manually updating. We do have some non-raidy guilds listed but the majority raid so it should hopefully come in handy (and it was good coding practise for me!).

Guest Posting

This isn’t actually live as I’m writing this post, but it’s ready to be just as soon as I wake up tomorrow (mid-afternoon of course). You’ll no longer need to email in your contributions, and can write them yourself instead.

Post Pages

There are new social bookmarking links at the bottom of each post, and a little “related posts” thingymabob to make it easier to find old content Also I just like installing new stuff.
