It seems Alliance have pissed off the Horde a little more than normal, never adhering to the “Keep off the grass” signs in Oggy and behaving in a totally inappropriate way, finally one has cracked, (although we all know he cracked a long time ago!) Recent Alliance defector Awoken has issued a call to arms on both Horde and Alliance sides for some good old fashion World PvP funnage. In his own words I present to you Awoken!

On horde we’re mature, we’re patient and caring – when hunters ask for a good PVP spec in trade, we never reply with “RESTO!11″. When we even smell an outbreak of [Anal] jokes in Trade chat, we’re on it. Misuse of trade chat, achievements or gearscore? We’re on it, armed with polite whispers. We’re so nice that it took me one hour to convince a Warlock and Moonkin to dance around this AFK Draenai – a BLATENT act of defiance against the Alliance of this server. But they did it. You know why?
WE’RE PISSED
You little alliance punks think you can just walk up to Orgrimmar and start killing people! How many times have we told you damn kids to stay off our damn lawn. HOW MANY TIMES? WELL IT’S ONE TIME TOO MANY!
The horde have had enough. No more giving good spec advice in trade chat. We don’t even care about [Anal] jokes anymore. I think we’re so damn pissed we’re going to start asking for at least 4k gearscore + achievement for VOA FREAKING 10 MAN.
It’s on now. Scores of you damn kids fell in Ironforge and Stormwind. Your shitty dwarf king lies dead. And it’s not over, we’re going to settle this with an oldskool outdoor battle.

A 40 vs 40 Outdoor PVP battle!
Date: Sunday 16th May 2010
Time: 5PM Server time sharp
Place: See the map
I shall restate the rules CLEARLY:
1.) Alliance are to take the flight path to Astraanar in Ashenvale and then run through the Talondeep Path to end up on the CORRECT side of the battle. If you fly to Stonetalon Peak not only will you look RETARDED as you awkwardly attempt to run to the correct side of the fight, but we will also leave because we will assume you are trying to flank us.
2.) Before the battle we will log Alliance and do a /who Stonetalon. If there are more than 40 (we shall account for retard hangerons) we will leave. So if there are like 80 level 80 alliance in Stonetalon, we’re gone. Feel free to do the same for us.
So as the coolest WoW boss ever once said…

You need to understand, most (original) horde players are mature, mostly thirty-to-forty-somethings with kids.
We’ve been there and done that, and we didn’t roll alliance just because Legolas looked so cool (if slightly camp with a little too much eyeliner).
So yes, we do have short fuses, because we’ve been subjected to years of sleepless nights with kids who just *smack* don’t *smack* fucking *smack* listen.
We regard the majority of alliance as kids too, which is why we’re so keen on revenge.
Oh, and one small note on the article itself: “How many times have we told you damn kids to stay off our damn lawn.”
Problem is, dude, that Org’s lawn is somewhat nonexistent. Too many years of hellfire and kodo shit kinda messed it up…

In all seriousness, each to his/her own offcourse but in my Horde adventures I have come across the same little twats I encountered on Alliance side, and that was even before the “Baby Blood Elf Boom” the Horde had in TBC.
, was my profound interest in the lore prior to World of Warcraft. It just appealed more to me than the Horde.
What made me choose Alliance way back in the days of yore
When entering Stormwind or Ironforge I always feel a bit like coming home, sadly I didn’t have that when I played Horde side.
Besides when I’m playing, there is no difference in Alliance or Horde for me, if I see a player who needs help, I’ll go for it, be it a gnome, a tauren, an orc or a human.
Btw the *sigh* Horde and their short fuses… was not meant as an insult, I simply forgot the smiley behind it. I don’t like to PvP but I sure as hell like to throw water on the fire every now and then

Sadly there are and always will be idiots (age irrelevant) who think that the anonymity of the internet is a good reason to act like a complete and utter wanker.
I always treat others in game, horde or alliance, as I would people in real life: if they play nice then I play nice, but if they cause grief I’ll gladly slap them upside the head with a shovel.
Looking forward to some PVP action – hopefully with a huge dollop of decency and good manners, or I’m guessing that will be the end of a potentially fun experiment…

I don’t do pvp, did far too much CS and TF in my younger days and burned out on the ‘kill, kill, KILL’ mentality. I never go into battlegrounds.
That said…. I never can resist a bit of pvp when it breaks out in the open world. I have been known to make a point of flying into XR just to gank some level 60-70 alliance dick-splashes who are killing quest npc’s.
Anyway, IRL commitments mean I can’t get on before around 8 server time, but if I can make an exception I will. After all, the horde will need someone to handicap them if they’re not going to totally embarrass the alliance :p (yes, I am *that* bad at pvp!)
TL;DR:
I sucked @ CS and I also suck @ PvP so therefor I only gank 60~70s at Crossroads.

Nice fail alliance, you couldn’t even get a 40 man raid together, EVEN WITH MY ASSISTANCE. Gave you a week, your leader never logged, got a new leader for you. Keep kicking people because they aren’t pvp geared/good enough/don’t like them. That’s the kind of arrogance that leads to the failure of community that has occured on alliance….
